The Six story

"Six" is the tale of the lives of the wives of King Henry VIII, who was a controversial king of England in the 1500s. During his nearly four decades in power, he had six marriages. His demands to leave his first marriage saw the separation of the Church of England from papal authority. Many people probably have heard of the story of Henry VIII. However, you may not know the story of his six wives. That’s where "Six" picks up.

This musical focuses on the story of these six queens as they sing about their individual experiences with Henry VIII. The queens try to decide who had the worst experience in being married to the king.
